Format your Phone? Wait a minute!.....  

I think you need to give it a second thought.

Most people look at their phone as a complex but unavoidably useful machine which at the slightest hint of misbehavior may need a repair or formatting.

These are the problems you might be having with your phone:

1. It hangs.
2. It has become very slow in operation.
3. It suddenly goes off and may or may not come back ON
4. The screen freezes at times or often
5. Some applications refuse to open and does hang even if it manages to open.
6. Some files seem to be missing.
7. It refuses to come on.

 Wow, that is a brush up of the issues you might be having with your phone.

 It might interest you to know that, I have had similar issues with my phone.

How did I handle it? 

I know your trend of thought. VIRUS!!. Not at all.
FORMATTING!! You missed as well.
BAD BATTERY!!  Very unlikely really.

The problem are those applications you downloaded/received and installed. What!?

Yes......................... they are the problem at times. 

Solution is this: Uninstall and Remove those applications you formerly downloaded and installed.

Point is, it might be  those applications that you cherish so much. 

You might even be achieving so much through them. 

Not until I have uninstalled them before my phone finally had some peace. 

Never be hasty to format your  phone!!.
